Welcome to patient management with Ocelot+!


To oversee your patients effectively, follow these simple steps:


 STEP 3: Add your Patients 


 Tip: Specific articles are linked to each section. Hover the bold letters and click the desired article to read. 

  1. Patient Main/Summary Page: Easily add new patients or search for existing ones on the main or summary page.
    • If the patient is new and has yet to visit the practice, click the "New Patient" button on the top right. Enter the patient’s name and mobile number, but know that more information will be added once they complete the New Patient Form during their first visit.
    • If the patient is an existing one, you can look them up using the search bar at the top of the screen.

  2. Patient Profile: Edit existing patient profiles or generate new PINs for them effortlessly.
  3. Consultation: Add detailed consultation information, including date, optometrist, and specific details like symptoms and medical history. Save the consultation data or cancel if needed.
  4. Spectacles: Enter prescription details seamlessly. Choose from various functionalities like printing job cards or creating invoices.
  5. Contact Lens: Fill in contact lens prescription details and save the consultation information or cancel the action.
  6. Invoices: Generate and manage invoices efficiently. Fill in the necessary details and edit or print invoices as required. Save the invoice or cancel if necessary.
  7. Attachments: Manage patient-related documents and images easily. Upload attachments with descriptions from your computer.
  8. Referrals: Facilitate patient referrals to other healthcare providers. Select referral templates and fill in the required fields. Save the referral or cancel as needed.
  9. Emails: Communicate with patients via email. Compose emails with predefined templates, add additional email addresses, and customise the subject and body before sending.
  10. SMS: Reach out to patients via text messages. Select from predefined templates, customize messages, and send SMS to patients.
  11. Recalls: Review recall history for specific patients effortlessly. Navigate to the "Recalls" tab to view the recall history associated with the patient.




With these steps, you'll effectively manage your patients' information and communication within the Ocelot+ Portal.
