Ocelot+ prioritises the security of your account, implementing an authentication method to safeguard your login process. This article provides comprehensive insights into why a code might be required during login, guidance for the first login, and important considerations for security.
Why Do We Have To Do Authentication?
The authentication method is a critical security measure adopted by Ocelot+ to fortify your account against unauthorised access. This additional layer of protection ensures the integrity and confidentiality of your account.
Key Points to Remember:
First Log In:
During your initial login, a verification code will be required in addition to your regular login information.
This verification code is sent to either the mobile number or email address associated with your Ocelot+ account. You will be able to choose where to get the code.
Incorrect Password Attempts:
If you enter the wrong password three times consecutively, your account will be temporarily locked for 15 minutes.
This security measure helps prevent unauthorised access by deterring repeated incorrect login attempts.
Code Delivery:
If the verification codes does not arrive promptly on mobile, try the email option.
Ensure you check your spam folder if the verification code email doesn't appear there too.
Confirm that the email address or mobile number used is associated with your Ocelot+ account.
Code Expiry:
The six-digit security code remains valid for five minutes.
If the code expires before use, you can click "Resend code" during the login process.
Code Request Limit and Consequences:
You can request a total of three (3) security codes during the login process.
After three code requests or three incorrect entries, a 15-minute block is imposed.
Verification Time Limit:
If more than one week has passed since your last login verification, you may be prompted to re-verify your identity by entering a new code.
